Welcome to the new website for Heartland Small Animal Rescue! We are a non-profit, 501c(3), rescue serving South Bend, Indiana and surrounding areas. We rescue in dogs, cats, bunnies, ferrets and small animals that are scheduled for euthanasia in local shelters.
We don't have a physical shelter, but a network of volunteer foster homes. All animals are housed in foster homes until they are adopted out.

Delta
(Treeing Walker Coonhound, Female)
This beautiful lady is Delta. She comes to us from a shelter in Indianapolis where she was originally found as a stray. Delta is a super sweet and playful Treeing Walker Coonhound who we estimate to be around 9 months old. She is about 40 pounds. Delta is a great pup who loves to run and play with other dogs (cats unknown) and adores people as well.
Delta is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. The adoption fee for Delta is $200.
